This is a great gym run by Joao and Bonnie. They have created an atmosphere that pushes the students to improve, while respecting where different students are coming from with respect to their skill sets and levels. Joao and Bonnie also teach the value of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a means of self-defense. Bonnie also provides expert yoga instruction, which when combined with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu makes for a very strengthening practice of body and mind.

This is the best workout for anyone trying to improve themselves. Joao and Bonnie are very passionate and very welcoming. They are fantastic with kids and adults alike. You will get the best instruction and have fun doing it! Everyone is very respectful and is a great family atmosphere. The schedule is very accommodating as well. This is a must for all ages for health and self defense.

The staff at Warrior Buddha is as passionate and professional as any you will find. They encourage the success of the student without pushing their own agenda. If you want to compete, come train. If you just want to get in shape, come train. Military, student, old, young, male or female... come train. If there must be one word to sum up this gym, it would be \Family\. I have trained here for well over a year and from day one I felt like family.

Last year I moved to Kitsap County and shortly after I settled in, I went in search of a new yoga studio that I could make my new home. I was looking for a community that supported one another on and off the mat, shared common goals, were humble, and had fun. I tried a few studios in the area, and they all had really great teachers but I still felt like something was missing. And then I found Warrior Buddha. I instantly fell in love with Bonnie's teaching style and very quickly knew I found my new yoga home. Warrior Buddha had all of the elements I was looking for and more. Shortly after joining, Bonnie encouraged me to try the Women's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I very much trusted Bonnie's experience and recommendation so I decided to give it a try. I was hooked after the first class and now I practice both yoga and BJJ almost every day. I highly respect Joao and Bonnie for not only being incredible instructors but for also being community leaders. During quarantine, they quickly shifted their business model to an online format. This provided training opportunities to the community during a time when we needed it the most. They've continued to be flexible throughout each phase of reopening, consistently putting safety first while trying to accommodate everyone's needs. This Yoga and BJJ community feels like a second family to me. I'm so grateful to be training in their facility. We train hard, we work to become a better version of ourselves each day, and we have fun. I can't recommend Warrior Buddha enough!
