As a buyer, it is sometimes very difficult to liaise with estate agents knowing full well that they act for the seller and not the buyer. We were pleasantly surprised when we started working with Richard on the purchase of our new home at how transparent he tried to be at each stage. He regularly kept us updated on developments and helped to move things along with the vendors and solicitors as much as he could which was extremely helpful on what turned out to be a rather protracted negotiation and purchase. Richard clearly has a genuine love for the area and this is clear in the knowledge he shared on local schools and other amenities. Thank you Richard for helping us to get this over the line. Richard from Potter & Ford and the whole team were excellent when I bought my dream home through them. I also easily got the perfect mortgage through James their Mortgage Broker which was easy and stress free. The purchase was a long journey that included me losing 4 buyers for my own house I was selling, but Richard balanced the needs and frustrations of the sellers of the house I was buying and my own and ensured at all times that the communication kept happening, including putting pressure on my rubbish solicitors when needed which also really helped. I eventually moved and myself, my kids, and importantly the sellers of my new home are all delighted and so happy. If I ever move again I won't hesitate to use Potter & Ford in Chesham! For Being a first time buyer is superb important to have a right support around you. The process with Porter and Ford was always perfect and we have managed to secure our first house. As working with people on daily basis I thought that I know what is a great customer service until I met a team in Porters and Ford. Past few months went quickly and I must admit I will miss communication with them.
