A Hidden Gem! That’s the best way of describing the Pot Kiln Lakeside Cafe. If you’re not paying attention you’d drive right by this beautifully situated cafe. The convenient car park overlooks a beautiful paddock right next to the cafe which is a large wooden cabin, with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a beautiful lake, where if you’re a keen fisherman there are day pass fishing available and by the looks of how many fish were caught while we were there you should have a great day of it. Entering the cafe we were greeted by the friendliest girls, the food was well priced with a breakfast and lunch menus available depending on the time of day (lunch from 11am). The food and service was excellent and the hour flew by watching the variety of wildlife carrying on with their day whilst we ate and drank. You can walk both sides of the lake but not all the way around, there is also a very beautiful walk from the cafe through the woods and into the paddock opposite the car park, which I’d highly recommend doing. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit.

What a fantastic little lakeside cafe. The staff are friendly and attentive. The prices fair and the food and drinks are fresh and lovely. Sit in the sun or in the shade. Take a little stroll around the fishing lake, treading with fish. Well done and thanks.
