Best fish and chip shop for miles. Food is always cooked fresh and never greasy. Well worth waiting whilst it is cooked fresh. I travel from a nearby village that has it's own fish and chip shops, but they are nowhere near as good as Poseidon. Also they do the best home-made fish cakes I've tasted.

Lovely white flakes of fish freshly cooked that melt in your mouth with light textured batter the chips are crisp and fluffy the food all round is just simply sublime. The owner and staff are polite and well mannered and so helpful and gives that old traditional style. 10/10
This unassuming fish and chip shop consistently has the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Clean oil and fresh light batter. Always a treat. Everything is homemade including the fish cakes, something I normally don't eat but from Poseidon I love them.
Been a few times always great food and friendly staff. Gone to send a friend the address and noticed I'd hadn't reviewed them. (Sure I had before so don't know what has happened) but believe me it's great.
Been back week after week for 5 years for this amazing, cooked to order fish and chips. Everything is always cooked beautifully fresh and to taste. Absolutely the best in the area.
