Beautiful church to visit. It is connected to the museum and the tower entrance. One thing that drew my attention was the fact that you could see the church from the upper level, from behind the altar! I haven't seen that before, and over visited quite a lot of churches so far, across many countries! A pleasant experience, and when we got there, it wasn't even crowded - allowing us to enjoy the whole experience even more! Definitely recommended!

A very beauyold church in the centre and surrounded by neat cafés and shopping street.
Renaissance-style Catholic church first built in the 1500s, now with an 18th-century baroque facade. Located on a street rather than on its own in a square, so you could in theory walk by if you weren't paying attention. Has a lovely interior though the museum has too many paintings on similar themes for it to be a gripping visit.
Parish church, lovely organ. You can see the interior from the 2nd floor, great view.
Nice museum and church of the most ancient and important charity institution in Portugal: La Santa Casa da Misericordia. They are situated in one of the most beautiful street in Porto: Rua das Flores. The display is modern, but the contents is not outstanding. The museum Soares dos Reis has better art pieces. Only if you have plenty of time.

The Baroque façade was built by Nicolau (Niccoló )Nasoni , certainly an Italian architect from Tuscany, Italy who moved to Portugal and worked there and create marvelous architectural buildings. I can't remember the entrance fees to the museum in which I entered, than I find out that there exists also a church. Lovely. Highly recommended.
