We booked in for 2 nights, the hotel was very beautiful, however after being there for 3 hours we had to leave due to the collection of our family whos flight had been diverted due to bad weather and we had to drive and collect them. The staff understood and were so kind and understanding. I cannot complain about anything, apart from wishing we could have been there longer. We also got a refund for our booked rooms, this was without a doubt a great customer service. Thanks Hotel Royal and we will definitely be back for a proper stay soon.

We stayed here for 2 nights, on a triple room, we were just visiting family as we are from the city. Cold rooms, I found hard to keep warm, no carpets on the floor or anything. TV so small I couldn't read any subtitles but the cherry on top of the cake was the shower, you had to lean on the wall so you wouldn't fall and on the day of leaving there was NO HOT WATER. I stayed in the bath freezing while my sister complained, although a very nice guy, his suggestion was to wait or get dressed a and go to another room, shower there and get dressed again. I was so cold and upset I just left never to return again.
Hotel situated in an old stylish building with no elevator. Clean rooms that need renovation. Helpful staff. Good place to organize a city break in Porto.
Central, clean & friendly staff! Highly recommended! Hotel itself is older, especially bathrooms. But whole package is very good!
Highly recommend. We only stayed one night, but it was the best hotel of this 10 days trip!! The room was so cleaning and full of natural light. I have to say that I didn't get what I've paid!! I got a room much more better than I've paid for. Thank you hotel Royal, see you the next time!
An old building but good location, near to the bridge da center. Overall i liked it
Never go there. Old tinny rooms with absolutely no space for the luggage. Really old bathrooms and too noisy. We did not sleep the whole night. The windows do not isolate any noise from the street.
Beautiful 20th century building with very tall ceilings. All refurbished . Highly professional staff
