Portland Bill Observatory sits a little further inland to the current Portland Bill Lighthouse. The Portland Bird Observatory & Field Centre is situated in the old Lower Lighthouse on the 'Isle' of Portland & is now used to study & observe the many species of bird present around the coast of Portland, Dorset, England.

This used to be the Old Lower Lighthouse at Portland Bill which was decommissioned in 1906 to make way for the construction of the current working lighthouse as seen today. It is an ideal place if you are a bird watcher. There is also accommodation, see leaflet in photo's.
