Great location to look out at the harbour, we sat outside with the heater on. It's good that Ben's cooking here ahead of reopening his own place next year. Great food and wine selection.

Yum, esp the sticky duck and wine! Can’t say I rly appreciated the cornflakes in the chowder but it didn’t detract from the chowder itself, which was good.
Great service and very friendly, with delicious food. While some restaurants offer huge portions so you end up stuffed, but not necessarily happy the food here is a perfect size and totally delicious. I had the skate and my wife had the sardines. Both very well cooked and perfectly matched with vegetables.
We had a fantastic lunch here. Exceptionally good food, wonderful friendly but also professional service and a beautiful view across the harbour and bay. Not the cheapest place but good value given the quality. Also excellent Covid precautions.
What a lovely find. High quality and a bit more imaginative than some of the other ‘fine dining’ we have had in Cornwall...and the price is excellent. We highly enjoyed our food, the local gin selection and also the experience and interaction with the staff, whom you could tell, had a passion for the food and local area. I recommend making a reservation just to be sure you can get in.
