Absolutely outstanding sunday lunch. Perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared produce on the premises. Hats off to the chef who clearly understands flavour and flavour combinations. Really cannot fault it. Staff were lovely and also knowledgeable on what they are serving, describing precisely how the chef made a particular dessert. Y Banc is definitely one to watch.

This is a beautiful restaurant with lovely friendly staff, who very kindly accomodated us. However, we found it overpriced. Around the UK, the average price for a Tapas dish of the size served is usually between 3-6. The online menu seemed to roughly fit this brief (4-7). However, when we arrived the prices were inflated. Many menu items, such as the halloumi fries, baked bread & potato based products still fit into the average bracket at 3 - 5. However, some basic meat based products were priced as though they were full meals. We opted for the Cajun chicken which cost 9.50 but was just a small breast with garnishing. We also ordered Halloumi fries, which cost 5 but consisted of 3 fries & some warm bread which we felt was well priced at 3.50. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food itself but we wouldn't have paid that amount for it had we not provided a deposit. Please note this is a review from a tourist perspective for other potential visitors. I fully accept the possibility that these prices are reasonable for the area. Many customers have left wonderful reviews for this restaurant which support this theory! Thank you

Called in on the off chance and they found us a table. Can’t fault the food, it was lovely. Puddings probably better than the tapas mains. The old bank building is nice too. Our only issue is the price. The meat dishes in particular were very expensive for what they are - 9.50 for 2 small bits of pork with chorizo! And then they add a service charge at the end bumping up the price even further. Our bill was 60 and we didn’t order very much at all.

Wine list needs expanding, but good Gin list. Food was well cooked and staff and covid arrangements good.
