Traditional fish and chip shop, no pizzas or kebabs. Excellent quality and food always hot. Good specials board including braised steak and chicken curry

Great Traditional Fish & Chip Shop. Excellent tasting batter on our large fish made to order and really tasty fish. Mushy peas were well prepared (peas weren't like bullets) and the curry sauce also went down well. All the family enjoyed our meal and we'll certainly make another visit soon.

First time experience: gave them a call to see if they took card, upon answering the phone I got \hello\ it was a bit off putting as it's nice to have the confirmation that you've called the right place! Got into the shop, it was really quiet, only two men behind the counter, I asked for chips and he said five minutes, I said that was fine. It took them 15 minutes to make a fresh batch of chips, and all the while the bloke behind the counter was on the phone the entire time just having a personal conversation. Portion of chips were very tasty, and decent portion, parking outside is single yellow after 6pm. Prices and chips were good, however it doesn't seem to be a very professional business as customer service could be better.

I called in last night and got fish and chips sausage etc for family. OMG they were lovely. Best chips I’ve had for a long time. Fish was gorgeous. The shop was spotless clean and the staff were very friendly. Beautifully wrapped and presented. Thanks guys I’ll be back. Martin

Freshly fried fish is tasty and succulent in lovely really crispy batter, served red hot if you phone to order with a collection time. Friendly service - unlike the last owner!
