We are italians but i'm writing in english in order to help all those travelers seeking a good place to eat in portoalegre. We went to \O poeiras\ on Sunday 11th, August 2019. We had a lunch composed of appetizers (fresh cheese, bread and olives), which in total cost 3, Grilled tuna, 22.50 for three portions (7.50 each), water, coke, two coffes for a total of 30.50 We were 3 so we basically spent 10 each to have lunch, which is incredibily cheap. Good value for money, I do believe that part of our lunch was made of hand-made products. Talking about the place I can say that it's cozy, comfortable, it gives you the idea of eating in the living room of a house, which I appreciated, i felt home. Our waiter (I think he could also be the owner), whose name is Alessandro was very nice with us, since se hardly speak portoghese, he managed to explain us the menu speaking italian and english He is friendly and charming. Definitely \O poeiras\ is a very good place to have a meal!
Excellent quality/price ratio. Delicious meals such as Rice with duck and cod fish with amazing home-made desserts. Alejandro is the perfect host and will make your stay a wonderful experience
