Port Sunlight Garden Centre and Restaurant

A very pleasant garden centre, with a good, well stocked, gift area, a very good restaurant, (obviously not during lock down), which includes a gluten free selection, and, at the moment, a good selection of Christmas decorations. The rest of the year, this section showcases interior decor, pleasantly displayed and colour coordinated. It has good wheelchair/pram access. Toilets can be reached across a small courtyard. There is a good sized car park, and brown signs help you to find it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Covid precautions; The centre has good, wide aisles, which help people to keep the social distance. Hand sanitizer and cleaning spray are available at the entrance. When I visited a few months ago, staff were stationed at the front door to regulate numbers and to offer clean baskets or trolleys. The outside plant area has a good selection, covering seasonal plants, perennials, shrubs, trees and potted herbs. The plants always look cared for and watered. The indoor plant section includes pot plants, cacti and succulents and terrariums. They stock all of the tools, chemicals, soils etc that you would expect to find.

Love our local garden centre,staff are lovely and so helpful. Young lad, Joe, was fantastic when picking our Christmas tree. So patient and knowledgeable. Top marks.

Lovely garden centre but can be more on the pricier end. The restaurant is lovely though and great value.they have a really nice candle section.
