We are very pleased with our WISP internet service. The download/upload speed is well above our package of 9/2. The installer was very professional and communicated each step. The customer service is great. We should have gone with WISP a long time ago!

When we first got WISP service years ago it was great. However, over the course of the last year the service has become increasingly unreliable. Frequent outages. When it is working it is much slower than the speed we are paying for. We have made phone calls, submitted tickets and the issue improves for the next couple of days but then returns to issues. I appreciate that the COVID situation has resulted in much higher volume of usage on the network, but it is definitely causing us impact for work and school. I routinely have to resort to using my cellular as a hotspot to keep connected to very important work meetings. Updating my review from a couple of weeks ago and moving from rating from 2 stars to 1 star. Starting off another work week where I have no internet service and can only perform work through cellular hotspot. Kids cannot do on-line schooling. Yesterday, Sunday, took an hour to download something that should normally take less than 1 minute. I am experiencing daily discussions in my house about need for more reliable internet given the impact on work and school. I have no issues with the WISP team representatives - they have always been very professional when I speak with them. But the unreliability of having working internet, and then when it is working it is not nearly as fast as what it is supposed to be, is a tremendous problem.
I had Wisp internet installed yesterday. The installer, Kelly, was great. He did a good job and explained everything. He was very pleasant. The internet service was immediately great with consistent speeds, many above the service level I signed up for. I have great line of sight with a tower. The sales person, Alex, was also very pleasant and helpful in setting up the service. I would recommend this company. If you have have good line of sight to one of their towers, the service will be great.
Improved a lot over the last two years, Great service, Best prices in ON for rural PTP type internet. Those complaining about the price and comparing to providers in the city do not understand the infrastructure needed to provide this type of service. Keep up the good work guys!
How can this place even call itself an internet company? There is no customer service, if you call too much they block your number and it goes right to voicemail. Don't get wisp unless you want less that 5mbps download speed. This also comes with outages for hours if not days at a time with no customer service answering your calls. There honestly could not be a worse company. Wait for star link, do not use this internet.
