Lovely location, very helpful staff, well maintained boats. Great fun having a peaceful sail in an electric powered boat along the river! Worth planning ahead and booking.
Beautiful and relaxed setting
Beautiful setting. Good river swimming, lovely, well-maintained boats to hire and delicious food and artisan ice-cream available to eat either beside the Charente River or on board. Rebecca and her staff speak good English too!

Pas terrible, j'ai juste commandé une glace à la pistache et la serveuse m'a servi une boule à la noisette. Quand je lui ai fait remarqué, plutôt que de la changer, elle a expliqué que la pistache était marron car elle était sans colorant. Après dégustation, le goût était vraiment de la noisette.
