its one of the most unique city in the world, you will see a lot of stuff that you never find anywhere, their people was very friendly and nice too. it takes about 15 minutes to reach the downtown by walk from the pier. Don't forget to get some local souvenir, and try some local food too.

Well the first impression is, I'm not getting in that taxi, as soon as you got of the ferry you could see the difference to Spain, its like stepping back in time. You have to keep an open mind while visiting Morocco and I feel that's important, what is unacceptable hassle wise to us is normal to the locals, we was on a tour so was in numbers, would not come here as a lone traveler. Tangier is a very interesting place especially the Kasbah, well worth a visit, but only for the day.

We took the day tour to Tangier - having read the really mixed reviews of lovers and haters. We had a great day! You have to take it as you find it and have reasonable expectation for guided one-day tour that isn't too expensive. The guide was fine and we enjoyed the haggling and shopping and all the new experiences. It's what you want to make of it.

The coolest place in Tangier if I must say so...
