Spoke to the reps at the Seattle Boat Show last year, they were friendly and were to happy to answer any of the questions that they could. I do wish they had known a bit more technical information about their products, such as how the internals of the units function. I would have preferred online ordering vs call in ordering but at least by calling in you talk to a more local distributor. Its nice knowing that the product has some sort of warranty on it. The unit functions well. All in all i would order from General Components again and have recommended them to all of my neighbors.
