We had a great time with Capt. Frankie. The weather turned cold and windy, but he worked hard to get us on some good fish. Ended up with some good fillets and good memories! Great boat, great conversation and great fishing day overall.

I have fished the Texas coast for 60 years and have booked a number of guides over the years. Frank is a very good guide. He is not afraid to tell you to postpone a trip when weather and tide conditions make catching fish unlikely. If the fish are not biting in one spot, he moves around to another, always searching for productive grounds. He likes teaching people how to fish and working with families. His boat is well-suited for bay fishing and is kept clean and organized. He understands the seasonable movement of fish and bait, and adapts his target fish, his bait and the style of fishing - bottom, top water, live or cut bait, etc. - to match what he thinks is most productive in the bay at that time. His fishing equipment is well maintained, and he makes many of the rods himself.
