Absolutely delicious! Went here instead of my usual hangout, massive hot chocolate. Went with the wife, was 7.20 for 2 and comes with a flake! Mmm yummy!..to many of these and ill definitely become a fatty! ...dividers in every booth, and we'll spaced, disabled friendly, parking just around the corner! Recommended! 5*

The best service and food in the whole of Southampton. I have been going there for 2 years now and have never had any problems. Love it.

Absolutely LOVE Poppins! Always go there at least once a month every month. The portions of food are massive but the food is so good you don't realise when u finish it all the steak is so lovely and I really want to know where I could get some absolutely love it, no better place to eat! Keep it up and please don't ever close

I don't like writing a negative review unless there is good cause to. As regards my experience at this Poppins I can honestly state that the only positive aspect was the value for money. That's the sole reason for giving 2 and not 1 stars. Then it feels very much a 'budget' cafe. The chicken baguette was below par. The chicken felt processed and the salad mainly comprised of a slither of worn out lettuce thrown together with a tomato or two. It all felt so retro in the negative sense. I really felt I had been taken back to 1985. And the service was no better - the waiter actually tried to take away our plates before we had finished! Poppins need to look around at the variety and standard offered by many other cafes with their organic choices and imaginative menus in these modern times..Perhaps a DeLorean time machine could assist?
