The fish and chips itself is tasty and portion sizes are generous however it loses a couple of stars simply because of pricing. They have recently increased prices further despite their already expensive menu. If you fancy some fish and chips and are in the area then you won't mind the food at all. First visit to Poppies, overall very impressed, good sized portions all freshly cooked. Friendly staff all dressed in 1950s style outfits which adds to overall retro appearance. Fantastic selection and display of memorabilia. Highly recommended for dessert is the home made apple pie. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent fish and chips for eat in or take away from the multi-awarded chain restaurant. Nice interiors, quick service and yammi food.
Fishcakes are highly recommended. Inexpensive and tasty.
