We went for a meal here in 2015, I meant to write a review then but only thought about it when my wife and I were discussing the best restaurants we have been to over 35 years, this one is right up there as being memorable, we visited as my grandfather then aged 18 spent his first night in Poperinge in 1916 so the whole area felt special. The meal was absolutely fantastic and so were the staff, we initially thought that the steaks were a bit small, however the waiter came back with 2 more large steaks, the chef wanted to make sure that they were cooked to our liking. The whole atmosphere was memorable. A very big thank you and apologies for not writing this review sooner.
Несмотря на то что январь это не самое подходящее время для туристов для посещения Поперинге, в пятничный вечер тут было многолюдно, достаточно шумно и очень по-европейски душевно. Выбор пива великолепен, отдельно в меню выделены локальные сорта, которые тут представлены более чем десятком разновидностей. Цены не кусаются.

Das Essen war super! Die Bedienung freundlich und schnell. Wir haben auf der Terrasse gesessen und die Atmosphäre auf dem offenen Platz sehr genossen
