Visited the Ark's pottery painting studio today with my two children who are 3 and 6. Billy was great, he helped set us up with the paints and brushes etc. and even pointed out some tools for my 6 year old to use that really helped her paint the mug she choose. It was a lovely afternoon and the session at 1.5 hours is more than enough and gives you time to do more than one piece should you wish. Well done 'Team Ark'.

You have just got to love the Ark, it's a place for the whole family to enjoy. They have as indoor medium ice rink, mostly for the younger generation. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating. Plenty of room for wheelchair access. Their rest rooms are kept to a high standard. The Only negative thing I can say is that it's a bit pricey, although the food is of a high standard. They have a great breakfast menu, also a children's breakfast, which I found was good value for money. They have a large free carpark & in my view is well worth a visit.
Me and my partner ordered two Cappuccino and instead we got two coffees that looked like more like a latte rather than Cappuccino! My partner's coffee was burnt. When I returned it back and asked from the staff to make me a proper one, I received a latte with some added foam. That's simple vile.. Staff should be trained how to make at least decent coffees. It's a big shame for a shop located in this wonderful area to lack from its service.
Booked a laser gun party in the soft play area for daughter in the evening...it was the most fun the kids had...even the adults got to try it n had a amazing time! The staff was ever so friendly and very organised n helpful. They made special concessions for a child with special diet requirements. Can’t recommend enough. ️
