This is the best G.P. service I have become acquainted with in my many years.The support and kindness is outstanding. Particularly the Gold Star assistance provided by Dr.Aidan Mowbray. Thoroughly recommended.

Misplaced Kiwi

They will not do blood tests if you are under 60 which is disgustingly ageist. I was suffering renal failure due to an inherited kidney disease so I needed regular blood tests. When I told my renal consultant about this he was very angry with the surgery and phoned to give them a telling off. From then I was accepted for blood tests but not without being made to feel like a criminal. How DARE I have a life threatening illness AND be under 60!! Do not use this chain of doctors if you are under 60 unless you want to be made to feel inferior. It’s a shame as the GP’s are very nice. Pathology at Poole Hospital is hard work if you are a mum of toddlers and a baby as I was then AND working. I’ve since moved to a different area where the surgery happily do blood tests, regardless of your age.

Absolutely useless here. If you are lucky enough to see a doctor, which I have had to wait nearly 3 weeks to do before, they're not bad. But good luck if you're a person who works Monday to Friday and it's not easy to get time off. Wish I could change surgeries
