Over the years I've heard many good things about CAB. However, I've never had a need to benefit from they're wide range of services. Until recently that is when I found myself undergoing the transition from DLA to PIP. Throughout I was dealing with Christine. Christine and I swiftly completely the application. A few weeks later I didn't quite get the end result I was hoping for so I went back to CAB and Christine. Via telephone Christine prepared the Mandatory Reconsideration, I collected this the next day, signed it and sent it off. I'm pleased to say that I had a response from the Mandatory Reconsideration on the weekend and this time it was the end result that I was hoping for. If it wasn't for CAB and Christine my application and, or Mandatory Reconsideration wouldn't of contained half as much of the information that it should of. I am forever grateful for the help and support that I was provided with. No doubt I'll have a need to return one day. I will also now be recommending CAB to anyone and everyone who I think could benefit from the services that they offer.
Normally very good, they helped me with my pip but on this occasion when pursuing a grant for a much needed bed there was a lot of false starts, miscommunication and eventually I Still didn't get what I was after. My 6 year old grandson could have done a better job.
Annoying site to scan through. All I wanted was a phone number as I didn't to send an email and wait for the standard covid response and never hear off of them. Nowhere could I find a number, unless of course you live in England you can speak to a person then. Pointless website and impossible to speak to someone. You reach out to these people for help but can't speak to anyone. Dont bother, no help.
