Lovely walk away from the hustle of Pontefract. Well maintained by the volentry workers of Valley Gardens. Unfortunately the bins are overflowing with litter that should be maintained by the council. To much litter thrown about, plastic bottles and glass bottles not in bins, shame that some people have no respect of nature escapes run by volunteers. The council should be more active in cleaning the litter and emptying the bins.

We had a great fun festive day on the Christmas Trail today but we couldn't find Rudolf's flashing nose.
Here life seemed to pause. Pontefract is such a busy place and stuck in the middle is Valley Gardens. Time stood still allowing me to soak up the beauty around me.Great for small kids or just a wander.
A beautiful place to take the kids. A little park for play, flowers to view and calm to be found.
Was a good place to take children during the Xmas event.
