Wonderful meal at Ponte Nuovo, had the minestrone soup and lobster pasta - it was delicious! The staff we attentive and friendly. We booked a table, which we were early for and they were able to seat us. We wasn’t rushed through our meal, was able to take our time to enjoy eating and drinking rather than some places who are ushering you out after two hours. It was a lovely experience, covid safe with tables spread very far apart. Thanks for a great evening!

I enjoyed my time at Ponte Nuovo. Great food, cool ambiance and friendly service. Highly recommended. Enjoyable ambience, staff friendly. Food was excellent, seafood dish was so fresh and tasty . Friends ordered fish and thoroughly enjoyed food. Wine was nice. Lovely evening out. recommend
Fantastic, genuine friendly service. Made a last minute booking and accommodated to a time they could offer. Brilliant food. Fresh and filling. All the team were friendly, efficient and kept the customers safe. Very reasonably priced with the level of service and quality of food you get. Definitely recommend and will be back.
The service was extremely slow and when we did get the attention of the waiter he either forgot the request or just missed things.People being served by other servers were on their mains before we even got our starters and we were there before them.As a result we were left sitting thirsty for atleast 20 mins which was very uncomfortable as it was extremely warm in there .The starters were nice but for the prices the mains were very disappointing.I ordered Ribeye steak and it was very over cooked , grisly and only a small part in the middle was medium rare as requested so it ruined the whole experience.The tiramisu was dry and tasteless. We wouldn't go back sorry.There are plenty of other Italian restaurants in Croydon dealing with the Covid stress that have keep their standards high and prices decent unfortunately they haven't .
Been going here for 2 years now and I’m never disappointed. Amazing service, all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great food - I always order the seafood linguine as it’s my favourite. My daughter loves the ragu. Good desserts too and it’s not too pricey.
