The food and drinks were amazing and well priced, I’d recommend the green sangria (never had anything like it before!) we also got to sample some Madeira wine and banana liquor on the house. Coupled with this, the view and service at Caprice restaurant made for a lovely place to spend an evening. The owner was great and clearly experienced, with an ability to make you feel special without being too overbearing. Do visit Caprice restaurant if you are in Ponta do Sol.

Simply disgusting. Hostile environment, terrific food and a disgusting service.

Inedible food. Not only was the food bad, we could barely eat any of the dishes we ordered. I am a terrible cook myself, but even I could probably put something edible on a plate. Terrible restaurant. And very exoensive.

This Place is awesome! Really nice stuff. Tasty food. Yummy coffee and beer. Cheap. Everything you want. I would like to come again.

We've eaten at numerous restaurants during our 10 day stay at Madeira but this was the only shockingly awful experience. On seeing the sizeable mark-ups on the menu relative to other restaurants on the island, we suspected that the quality will at least be on point. If only. Even preparing the dishes to an edible state was beyond this place. Horrendously overcooked prawn pasta, woefully undercooked sweet potatoes, this place couldn't get the simplest thing right. And then they fleece you for it to boot. There are many better places in Punta do Sol. And tons better on the island. More importantly, none of them will leave you feeling hungry and short-changed.

Tasty pasta and nice small street terrace. Good value for money.
