Large bed and breakfast. French \chateaux\? Form over function. High price. Rooms are large and comfortable. Shower head is not fixed and is handheld, leading to wet bathroom every day. Breakfast is buffet, pretty good. Dinner has many courses and takes too long. There is a small, basic fitness room. Overall I prefer a simpler, more practical hotel located closer to Normandy beaches (my purpose for being here as part of a tour). Vicinity is isolated. Wi-Fi is very spotty. This review coming from a New Yorker.
Amazing rooms, beautiful garden, and very attentive staff. The restaurant is incredible, as well as the swimming pools (specially the one indoors). Highly recommended.
The park/garden is really wonderful like the house. The staff is very kind and focused even if the lady owning the property is a bit too stressed... We really enjoyed the decoration anf the marvelous carpets as well as the size of the rooms and the high roof. The rooms themselves are also very nice even if a bit old fashioned. We were a bit disappointed by the restaurant especially knowing the whef has worked at the Crillon. Everything was good but average, very classic and not so well cooked, according to our tastes of course. So a very good journey there but still margin fro improvement.
Wonderful. Peace and quiet with a touch of class. Very welcoming. Lovely pool.
