Mr Sir

Very professional and friendly border service. They are doing everything what you need. Of course, some services cost money (take photo for visa, or the loss of this slip of departure). Anyway, this is a great job! Good service!

First time to experience visa run because i needed to stay a few more days to assist my husband from his recent surgery and it was a quick process in this border. The travel on the way here was way longer than the time we spent at the border. The place was clean and the people around incl. the street peddlers were friendly, the atmosphere peaceful and relaxed. The immigration officials were nice and very professional in handling the people departing and arriving. Not a very busy border.

Pleasant enough experience on both sides of the border. Came here for the first time. Handed back my Cambodian TIP to the customs officer and told him I was leaving. Stamped out and got in the car to drive to the Thai side. Unclear where you switchover to left hand driving as for some reason the Thai and Cambodian sides never hashed out a proper switchover lane but sometime after you pass through the Cambodian barrier and before you get to the bridge is where you switchover it seems - that's what I did and then we were driving on the left. A Thai car passed me in the opposite direction and probably switched to the right before entering the Cambodian barrier. After arriving on the Thai side there's a barrier and the Cambodian guard tells you to park your car there. You walk up to immigration, get your arrival form, fill it out and then get your passport stamped. Conveyance form is returned there. You hold onto the customs form, get back into your car, drive past the barrier, park, then hand in the customs form at the customs booth. Cambodian cars have to get a customs form first before being allowed to pass through. Vietnamese nationals may be asked lots of questions before being allowed to enter Thailand. This is probably because lots of illegal Vietnamese workers enter Thailand through borders such as this one.

Great Checkpoint, honest and professional officials on both sides of the border. We did Thailand - \u003e Cambodia, which took us only 15-20 minutes for the whole process. No bribe was requested, neither picture was needed. Once you arrive in Cambodia there aren't any official taxis, instead locals will approach you and offer you a ride to Battambang for 20, Baht will be accepted too. We trusted our guts and rejected the first driver and took the second one. We asked for a driver license which was shown to us immediately. Be prepared to not drive straight to Battambang since your driver may pick up some furniture or food on his way to the city centre. Take enough cash, we couldn't spot a ATM at the Cambodian side. Good luck and enjoy

Checked out of Thailand no problem. Used the agent lady with the big hat for Cambodian visa service (she waits at “Departures” for foreigners) 1,700 plus 100 for photo. She was back in 15 minutes, by the time we had filled out the TM6 cards. Checked straight back into Thailand.
