Poncho Khana Ltd

You may go in for the food, but you will keep going back for the amazing service. The owner is very hands on and ensures the matrons are well looked after. Will definitely be going back again. I don't mind the 30 minutes it takes to get there, or the lack of parking. Well worth it.

We loved Poncho Khana since the first day we visited. Very friendly staff and good service. Food is also very good quality. Very fresh and authentic bengali taste. Highly recommend. We'll visit again whenever we're next in Birmingham.

Provided one of the best customer services I've experienced so far. Very friendly and dedicated staff. 1 star taken off because the steak I ordered was very hard to cut and chewy but the taste was delicious. Would definitely go back for more.

NEVER AGAIN!!! This was my first time at this Poncho Khana restaurant and my last. Firstly, my family and I had booked at 5pm in advance, there was really no need to book at all because they didn't even have it written down. Secondly we had placed an order, starters and the main. The Manager/Owner had taken our order. It took OVER AN HOUR and still had nothing on our table. How, as a mother, can you stay calm when your young children at the age of 4 and 5 are sitting at a table waiting for food. I mean at least bring something thats cooked, anything will do at this point. I got up and went to see the guy who took my order (the Owner/Manager) and guess what?! He was munching away on a wrap, not bothered to check up on his customers. I just wanted to leave but thought I'll remind him that we're still waiting. The funny thing is that he asked me which table i'm seated at!! this restaurant is not that big, its the smallest one i've been to. (DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!!) The table behind us had their food before us even when they came half-an hour later! The Owner/Manager spoke to me as if i was in the wrong!! I mean, he is walking around with a full stomach and my children wanted to get out of there, tired of waiting and hungry. Not their fault. I had enough of this bull and got up with my family until they decided to bring the food out to the table!! Only then when your about to leave!! I'll be letting the rest of my family and friends know about this Poncho Khana restaurant. I don't get how this is a 4-star restaurant!!

Good food. Booked here so they made room for us. There was a 15 minute wait after our booking time but negligible to me as it posed no problem to me but did annou everyone who were wearing heels. I recommend the shark attack, Tasted great and they provided a fan . I don't recommend the samosas as they were dry and burnt.
