Simple no fuss decor, simple food but really tasty and well cooked. Really enjoyed the meal! Would definitely recommend (but maybe give the tea a miss!)

The cafe has a nice interior and the food is very well priced! The rice was cooked well and the prawn nanban was delicious. The tea was good and is much less expensive then most places the oy downside was the pork was not of great quality. However will be coming here again!
Great food and excellent value! Only two negatives; I would have appreciated a little more sauce with the tempura/spring rolls (see picture) & it’s cash only and that definitely isn’t very covid friendly at the minute.
Quick service, great price, good food and amazing atmosphere. Better than supporting huge chains like Itsu and Wagamama’s which are in close proximity. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Absolutely AMAZING Food! My husband and I first discovered Pompoko when we were students at Sussex Uni; and 12 years later we still pop in for a bite to eat every single time we're in Brighton. The food is so delicious - just writing this review makes me hungry- the ingredients are top quality and the prices are unbeatable. Honestly, go to Pompoko - you won't regret it.
