My friends came from PA to hunt. They had made hog hunt reservations months before. The outfitter told them he didn't even know they were coming to hunt. Their price included lodging, meals, and a garunteed hunt. They had to pay for their hotel, food, and saw no hogs. Owner refused to honor the statements on his website. Refused to refund the deposit. Hung up on my friend's 74 year old father, a Marine who served in Vietnam and went to the hunt. The owner took down the website. My opinion is not to support Crib Creek or their other businesses.

We came down to their preserve with a party of 4 to hunt hogs. We drove 7 hours to get there. Our hunts were during that day, we were all separated on farms miles apart. Some in NC and some in SC. Our weekend adventure that we paid a full price for was complete bust. I have hunted all my life and on other preserves, there is never a guarantee on anything. But this preserve was not prepared for the hunters and had no idea where the hogs were. They simply dropped you off and ran to the next hunter drop off point. The accommodations and food were good and the staff was very pleasant and kind. But the hunt was very disappointment, is was rush, rush with no obvious scouting on theses various farms we were dropped off to. Our party saw one hog running the weekend we went that did not produce a good shot target. The owner was disappointing that the hunt was unproductive and offered to let us come down and hunt for only a lodging cost, which seemed fair. The only problem is that he never returned any of our calls of emails that we sent to them to honor their offer. I would not recommend this outfitter to anyone and hope in the future that they hire more qualified guides that actually scout and provide the services that don't mind receiving money for.

My buddy and I scheduled a hunt for March 7th 2018 the hunt was scheduled in September 2017 and at that time my buddy put his 425.00 deposit down for the hunt. After sighting in our guns and having all our equipment packed ready for an 8.5 hour drive I made a comment on Crib Creeks Facebook page that we couldn't wait to get there to hunt. At this time Greg Lynn contacted me and asked me how many people was in our hunting party when I told him 2 he stated that the hog movement has stopped that it wasn't a good time to hunt so I told Greg I'd talk to my buddy and get back to him. My buddy called Greg and he gave my buddy the same story and advised him he would send him his 425.00 deposit back this was March 5th 2018 and it's now the end of October 2018. My buddy has talked to Greg several times and he keeps telling him there's a check in the mail but he hasn't seen it yet. However it looked like they had a great time trout fishing while we were supposed to be hunting.
