Really great roast with fantastic veg including amazing cauliflower cheese. Let down a little by slightly powdery potatoes- not the best variety for roasting in my opinion. However everything else so good made up for it. Good friendly service and nice atmosphere. An excellent country pub worth visiting.

Loved this place for a cosy Sunday roast after a walk in the local countryside. Notices this place was in the top 20 BRAVO awards in Sussex so we gave it a try, loved the Nut roast and trimmings and the desserts were delicious. Dog friendly place too. We will return!

Really wonderful, Christmassy and cozy atmosphere. We had a table of mixed households so had to dine in the marquee in the garden. However, this has been set up very tastefully and was genuinely warm and pleasant. Would recommend for anyone. Bad things: we ordered drinks which never came them when we asked where there were, they eventually came but both drinks were on the bill!! Prices on the bill were more expensive than the advertised price on the menu which we feel was a really big deal. The portion sizes were very small. So, eat before you go and take a calculator.

A welcome relief, on our walking adventure, service with a smile and a well managed and groomed establishment was the impression I got.

A wonderful Sunday Dinner - we all had a different roast option and loved them all! Puddings were brilliant and service even better. Thank you!
