Amazing place. My favorite was a real excavator you can sit in and try moving piles of sand from place to place. I couldn't get further from that one :-)

A great place for older kids (for those who can read). You can spend hours there....The cafeteria is poor though....

We really enjoyed the 3D movie in the planetarium, it was really educational for children, however it was a tad slow and it put one of the kids to sleep (not a bad thing). The main science museum could be great but unfortunately when we visited around 50 of the features were either closed (and labeled out of order) or were damaged. The damaged/broken features just left the kids confused as to what it should be trying to show them, or what they were doing wrong. The canteen was basic but sufficient. There was a reasonable choice of sandwiches and soft drinks. If the queue got too bad there are also vending machines. The staff were friendly although there was little interaction beyond the reception and the canteen. We are thinking of coming back next year to give them another chance as this place has great potential.

Great day out, it suprising how much is there and you can easily spend a whole day there. Its not overly commercialised and the canteen is good for lunch. Kids loved it - 6 & 9

Had a great day here, with children 7 & 5 (in 2017). We will definitely visit again this year, although a day is not enough. Get there early to see all of the activities

Definetely - worth to visit. We spent here all day with our children (8 and 5 years old) Many scientific based hands-on demonstrations, fun for many hours. Best for adults - slope room, music memory test. Best for children - Castle, exercises. Only movies in Planetarium are a little bit boring.
