A favourite venue for students, great atmosphere and a huge range of ciders to choose from. I have visited this place quite a few times with some friends from uni and it is always a good time.

Fantastic atmospheric place decorated with old artefacts. Duncan and Philippa will guide you through 30 to 40 proper ciders...no mass produced rubbish. Sweet , dry, medium, strong, fruity, dry, etc you name it they've got the South West cider! 3.80 for most pints including the Cider board of three tasting glasses. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Cider makers include Lilley's, Sandford's, Taunton Cider Co, Broadoak, The Old Somerset Cider co, etc with names like Black Rat, Gladiator, Fanny's Bramble, Naval Gazer etc
Old style pub with an amazing selection of cider. So many in fact it would take weeks to try them all. The barman will offer a taster shot to help you select the ones that would suit your palette. A pleasant place to spend an hour or so tasting some interesting ciders.
Quaint little cider bar. Tons of choices. You can sample ciders before ordering a pint. Wish we had more cider bars in the US.
