Faithful Fuzzies Maskell

The nurses and doctors are exceptionally good and professional people, the problem lies with systems and communication. Ringing them up you may as well book out a morning by the time you get to speak to someone so I go on to the online service and what do I get? Error in database messages no matter how you try to get into the system. Do they turn them off for Christmas? God knows and perhaps I will after the bank holiday is over. The only reason this practice has not crashed around its own ears are the super human efforts of the staff. Someone, please get an effective line of communication that is simple enough for all your patients. It is not beyond the wit of man or woman to sort this out.

Would be quicker to fly to Bulgaria to see a Doctor, than try to access any sort of medical care at this practise.

The staff are ( when you get through to a human ) great however in all my years I have never dealt with a Surgery that hides staff away behind so much automation it really is horrific, all I want is medication ( long term prescription ) which have disappeared from both NHS online & yet another App Airmid? Automated customer contact wants a PIN ( never had one ) never mind we can give you a pin when you come in ( can't come in due to Covid ) your automated services are laughably useless and not fit for purpose, let me speak to a human and bin your automation !!!!!

Very hard to access medical care, even with the online service. Joined surgery in March and I still have to fill out a long e.consult questionnaire, as they can't see to be able sort out a repeat prescription for an Asthma Inhaler, needed for long term use. Nothing has been loaded to the nhs app, so can't order online.

On the phone after ten minutes still, the online system totally useless it tells me to get a COVID test and I have no symptoms of Covid. I wonder how many people just give up trying to make a appointment. Glenside medical practice used to be great, what we have is worse than a third world country. After my one star I am now increasing to 2 stars because when I eventually got through on the phone the receptionist was wonderful, also she agreed the online system is not the best.
