The best pub in pool! Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Great atmosphere and very helpful and welcoming everytime. Quickly became my \local\ and wouldn't consider anywhere else.

Barely anyone in. Ordered a salad starter, it didn't resemble the menu description at all. Brought this to the attention of the waitress who promptly told the chef and an apology was relayed. Sadly it didn't stop the chef failing to prepare my main course as described on the menu. He definitely wasn't under pressure. My wife's courses came out spot on. And what was served was tasty. Shame about the errors
Menu not up too much at all. Have too be honest I guess it was a simplified menu from the looks of it. Something that would have appealed to my children is what was needed . The main reason we only stayed for a quick drink and didnt eat was because the kids couldt find anything they wanted to eat .

The best burger I've had in my whole life. All for a fiver. It is genuinely too good to be true!! I know a lot of burgers and man this was honestly the juiciest and most sumptuous steak burger in the entirety of Cornwall. Still can't get my head around the fact that it was all for a fiver! The spread of ales and lagers is only a bloomin bonus
