Ate lunch here with a large party of 8. We all ordered different sandwiches and entrees and were all pleased. Great brisket sandwich and burnt end plate. I had a pork sandwich with creamy slaw on top (Carolina style). All were very good. We also had fries and sweet potato fries, which were prepared fresh (if not a bit slow). Will *definitely* dine here again!

I really don’t understand these reviews. This is not the best place for Kansas City BBQ. When you walk in it smells amazing. The ordering process is pretty easy. I got 2 meat bun combo with burnt ends and brisket. Then I added 2 sides (beans and macaroni). The sides were really good. Super cheesy the macaroni. Beans had great flavor with a bbq taste. The meat was so disappointing. Everything was so dry. None the meat had flavor. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place. Service is great thankfully. But the food not so much. If you want quick food that tastes less than mediocre than this is your place. For everything it was 18.80. That’s a decent price for all the food if it was good.
We’re from out of town and have heard of Kansas City bbq. It’s got a reputation. But this surely wasn’t the stuff of legends. The brisket was super tough, the fries are just from a frozen bag. We will definitely be looking for bbq somewhere else the next time we’re in KC.
It was rather expensive for the quantity-22. Meanwhile the quality is same as a mass chain at best. I requested the smallest sample of KC BBQ and they served/charged me this \burnt-ends brisket.\ However the sides were great!
Food is great - you can NOT go wrong with BBQ... The pet-peeve here are the prices... You go to the menu you find on Google and IT IS NOT accurate according to the employees... The actual prices are 4 - 5 higher... Yet, when you go to their own web-site menu, the DO NOT list prices... If you are on a budget, this is not a friendly place... Look at spending around 20 for lunch here, which is not high for the quality but not low either...
