Fancied a Sunday dinner after long drive and didn't want to stop at a large plastic chain pub. The Plough was exactly what we were looking for and very pleased we stopped. Nice atmosphere, good food and friendly service. We will be stopping off again and would highly recommend.

Great outdoor space, felt very festive, thus cheered me up in these trying times. Had some lovely mulled wine, to help me get in the Christmas spirit. Staff friendly and adhered to the covid restrictions. Additionally, I try and support local businesses where I can.

Atmosphere was great and very cosy especially with the beautiful fire places. Staff were really friendly (both on the phone and in the pub) and patient with such a large group of us and service was quick. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good - Sunday roast was generally under seasoned including the gravy and the meat was overcooked. It was difficult to tell pork and lamb apart as they looked exactly the same. Not so generous with the roast potatoes with each of us only getting 2. Wouldn't come back for the food but would return for drinks as the atmosphere was lovely and could cater for larger groups.
