This is a local friendly pub with a nice atmosphere, and good tasty food. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. Would definitely reccomend.

Food was lovely, chairs need refreshing though some were falling apart.
Had lunch today, I had fish chips and mushy peas. The fish was lovely but had to ask for them to change the mushy peas as they were dried up and very bicarbonate of soda taste, think they were not prepared fresh for todays menu. My daughter had salt and pepper chicken with egg fried rice, and felt both were cooked previously then reheated as part of the meal. As fresh wok cooked chicken shouldn't be tough, she was able to eat it but would not choose it again. The social distancing of tables wasn't brilliant and when the bill came we were overcharge and would have let it go if we had felt the food was of good quality. This was our 3rd eat out to help out and would rate it 3rd out of the three places
