Basic casual pub. Friendly atmosphere. Food lovely, best burger i have had in a long time. Reasonable prices. Good for pint and decent meal
After a long walk we popped into the Plough for a couple of drinks. Great welcome. The guy behind the bar was apologetic as other staff had not turned up for duty. However he managed a busy period professionay. Nobody waited too long to be served. I had the steak and Guinness pie with potato wedges and a plate of excellent veg. A lovely simple pub dish and I will be going again. My wife cleared her plate too. Thanks for the service AB
