We had take away fish and chips - a haddock, cod and sea bass - and they were fantastic. So very tasty. A pot of proper tat tar sauce was included with each. Portion sizes were very good. They even me later that evening to make sure the food was ok. Highly recommended and will definitely be doing take away again from them.

Lovely country pub with the drinks selection of a city bar. Prices can be high and food is not served until late, but overall a nice alternative to the noisy pubs in the town. With an added bonus that this pub is dog-friendly and serves gluten free ales.
During lockdown they have been offering takeaway and food delivery services. We had a roast meal on Sunday which arrived hot and was excellent.
Hadn't been for a little while but, went tonight for wife's birthday. Reminded again just how welcoming this pub is. Absolutely great good and service. Love it here.
Great food and good portions, went out their way to make us feel welcome and would definitely recommend
