Look, if you rate on experiencing the culture and tradition of a Spanish bullfight, this would be a 4.5 star rating. And although my wife and I knew what was coming, we weren't prepared emotionally. Seeing the helpless bulls slowly tortured didn't sit well with us. But, clearly we were the minority as the audience cheered throughout. We had to leave after the first fight. It was a neat experience to be in the Pamplona bullring, though. The seats are cement, so maybe worth the 1 Euro for a pad to sit on.

Whether you love or dislike bull fighting, this is a fascinating experience for all the family. We spent over an hour inside and we have five children aged 10 to 1 year. It was very informative for a very reasonable entry fee and I would highly recommend visiting.

Even though out of season and no bull run, being in a bull ring was still an amazing experience. The self-guided audio tour, the visual and sound effects was really interesting to give a feel of the action. The small museums also adequate and interesting. And finally the opportunity to be photographed as a “matador”!

There are free tours in Soanish that happen each hour from 11-17. (Tours in other languages occur as people request them.) I'm very happy with our tour and the information we learned. It was an awesome cultural activity to see.
