Currently offer the best choice of menu in St Andrews, if looking for somewhere that offers reasonably priced, good quality food. The pidgeon breast starter and venison main course were both perfectly cooked and presented. The staff were very attentive and good humoured, adding to the whole pleasant experience.

Prompt service. Appeared one of the waiters was still learning or newish. He did a great job. Steak was cooked perfectly. Pepper sauce could of been more peppery. Waiters went out of their way to please the diners. See desert pictures below. A great way to finish a good meal.

Great wee place to dine. Very upmarket with nice menu and lovely decor. Food was amazing and the service was fantastic.

Unusual and limited menu. It's ok but nothing exceptional. The wine list is limited. The food is well cooked and enjoyable. There are only 4 choices for the main and starter courses, so for some, like me, you'll be down to only really one choice. It was ok, nothing memorable and I wouldn't rush back.

They charge 10 per person as a cancellation fee if you cancel within 48 hours of the booking. They take all your card details, including your security code upon booking. They will charge you for whatever your reason for cancelling. In these times of a global pandemic it seems grossly irresponsible of a restaurant to uphold such a policy. For people not feeling well on the day of the booking or perhaps a minor symptoms (not one of the cough, temp, loss of taste or smell), it encourages them to power on through and attend rather be cautious and cancel. The restaurant make a big play on their website about what they do to combat Covid with the sanitisation of tables after seating etc, but getting rid of this cancellation fee might do more for the safety of their customers and staff than any of it. The food is ok but there are far better restaurants in St. Andrews and they do not risk you either to have to pay an extortionate fine for cancellation if you aren’t feeling well on the day of the booking or risk sitting in a dining room full of ill diners who’d rather not be there but don’t want to pay through the nose for nothing
