All the sauces are made from scratch, original and excellent. The quality is top. Everything in the seafood towers was wonderful. The crab legs were cut lengthwise, making them very easy to take out and eat. Unfortunately, there was too much ice, which melted and dripped, and there was no cloth to catch the water. There was no flame under the melted butter, and it froze. Food this good deserves a more mindful service.

Absolutely loved everything! Started out with the Oyster Rockefeller , we had NY Steak, and the Green Curry Mussels ..... Green Curry Mussels was not my first choice but as usual I asked our server (Nicole was aweskme!) And she recommended the Mussels first.... long beautiful story later, I will have to fly back across country to eat these again! Would definitely recommend! Great Job staff at Playa Hermosa! I was thoroughly impressed.
Stopped in for a quick bite on the Strand. Ordered some oysters and the lobster bisque. It was a good selection of fresh oysters. They did a good job of showing them. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever had. I'm probably coming back tomorrow.
Not many restaurants have the food that create a desire for me to go back. The Peruvian Scallop in this restaurant is one of those foods. Every time we come to Hermosa pier, we have to stop by this place to eat the sashimi scallop dish. Besides the Peruvian Scallop, the restaurant offers great seafood dishes on its menu. I had ordered their shrimp tortellini for dinner tonight. The pasta and the sauce were amazing, fantastic taste and al dente pasta. The shrimp was very fresh and huge. Another great dish is the green curry mussels. Cooked with coconut milk and green curry, this Thai dish has great aroma and excellent taste. It helps that this restaurant is right on the beach with unobstructed view of the pier and the beach. We come often to eat here and enjoy the amazing sunset view. It is a great place to bring a date for dinner. But beware, the portions are a bit small. We had to order extra food to satisfy our stomach.
Great place to eat outside. Gabriel recommended Swordfish sandwich and Fish & Chips.....both thick fish and cooked perfectly with margaritas drinks!
