A nice, peaceful place to go on a weekday morning, to browse the nursery and the tropical / temperate glasshouses. I bought a great variety of border plants for a reduced price. It's so good to see the work of the students at the college paying off, with information showing which ones have been grown from seed or cutting by groups of students as a part of their practical work. You know it's British grown and benefiting the local community! Also spotted a bit of wildlife and took a photo of this lovely tortoiseshell butterfly on one of the benches.
Well organised one way system in place. My daughter's first visit and she was amazed and impressed by the tropical plant house. We bought several unusual plants not seen elsewhere.
Lovely place to visit, nice café and tropical greenhouses with exotic plants. On our visit, we felt the quality of too many plants were beyond their best and in the end decided not to purchase.
Fantastic range, really great prices and lovely staff. Highly recommend a visit
