This company is a disaster and do not even deserve one star. I ordered the Alpiner X Alive watch in April and got it in October. The watch and the app are catastrophic. Every cheap China Watch works better. The support is horrible too. They do not answer or need to long. In my opinion this company should forbid to sell watches! This is fraud what they do!

Got a terrific service when I had to send my watch back for changing the battery. Some companies just have a random mailservice. But here I felt I got personal help. I really love the AlpinerX and use it every day. The sleep feature is awesome and somehting I really have missing on other watches.

Alpina watches, you failed BIG time with your AlpinerXalive! You overpromised and underdelivered with unbelievable arrogance! The watch is poorly assembled and the smart functions face serious software issues and make the watch unusable. Alpina is using customers as Guinea pigs trying to make a workable device. The aftersales team got silent on my complaints. Absolute arrogance! You lost a (previous loyal) customer for good!

Alpinas excellent product support I purchased a Alpinarx smartwatch over a year ago now and it has performed brilliantly until a month ago. The Alpina app on my phone kept asking for updates to be installed onto the watch so i followed the prompts and did what it asked but it failed a number of times. The app crashed eventually on me so i decided (stupidly) to delete the app from my phone and download it again. After reinstalling it the watch had lost its bluetooth connection and i could not get it to work plus the lcd screen on the watch had gone black! I thought all was lost so i contacted Alpina and they suggested i send it in for repair. I had to send it to Switzerland to Alpina and there a young lady dealt with my repair. Received it back yesterday and downloaded the app again and its working perfectly. The app looks like its been updated as well as there's a new feel to it now, much more intuitive. I'd like to thank all involved in the repair of my watch, I honestly thought i'd destroyed it!! But the repair centre managed to bring it back to life 10/10 for the support team at Alpina I cant thank you enough. They even clean my watch and there was no charge for the repair which was a happy surprise. Again many thanks to Alpina and their support team. Kev

Was looking for a smartwatch for my boyfriend. Was not sure what will suit him the best so I got in touch with Alpina in order to understand better the choices. They helped me to understand all the available choices so I could be sure before purchase. Great service! Cant wait to receive the watch!

Based on my experience of owing a defective Alpiner GMT I will never go near this brand again. From the outrageous cost of repairs in Australia from their authorised dealer to the \I dont care\ attitude from the head company, the whole quality and customer service experience is woeful. Winding mecanism failed after two years and was quoted about two thirds the cost of the watch for repairs by the local authorised service centre. My usual swiss watch service centre quoted about one third cost of the authorised service centre to repair but after several months was unable to source the parts required from Alpina. The broken parts were not standard ETA or Selitta parts. I tried contacting the head company numerous times and after several attempts was asked to go to my local authorised service centre. No further correspondence after that. In summary, this was an expensive watch if you consider its life and poor quality. I own several Swiss and Japanese watches and none with the quality issues of my Alpina. All style, no substance and if you buy a watch from Alpina you can expect no after sales support if anything goes wrong.

I can only echo previous reviewers. Nice looking watches, poor build quality and woeful customer service. Submitted a ticket for a warranty repair as the crown would no longer screw in (common problem with Alpina watches) telling them as no service centres in my country I wanted to send it back to Geneva. Two weeks later I get a reply to visit their website to find the nearest service centre in my country! WTF. That's why I contacted them in the first place..... Idiots.
