I was completely absurd and disgusted with how myself, my partner & 1yr old was refused a table to dine in because we were told this location was fully booked but only 2 tables were being used at the time. The manager came over to us in an abrupt manner stating they are fully booked without greeting us or identifying that the restaurant 'Coulsdon Pizza Express' was empty, nor did he taking in to consideration that I had a 1 year old and was just looking to eat especially as they were empty. I was shocked at how agile they were not being, it was utterly embarrassing that we were refused service for dining in because 2 tables next each other were being used. If this is how Pizza express operate I am certainly no longer dining with them. Poor experience

The food was ok and the manager here is very friendly. However, the customer service is not great. The waitress took our order incorrectly and had us waiting over 15mins for one of our kids main meal. When it finally arrived, no apology was given and the pasta was not well cooked. One waitress was friendly, but the other was not. She had quite an attitude. Its such a shame the customer service is not the best as there are not a lot of restaurants in the area.

The pizza was really good. The ambience was really nice and it was bright and clean. Had an enjoyable lunch!

I've only been to this restaurant a couple of times while visiting Coulsdon but each visit has been really good. The staff are very friendly here and quick to help and serve. They don't rush or bother you while you're eating either. As with all Pizza Express restaurants, the food isn't the cheapest but the starters and pizzas are really tasty and worth the price. The atmosphere in this restaurant is nice too as it's never overly busy. I'll be happy to come back here when I'm next in Coulsdon!
