Women who showed us to our table not very friendly or polite.. actually didn't feel very welcoming. other members of serving crew were friendly, food ok. I wouldn't return to THIS pizza express just due to that initial unwelcoming from lady..

Really nice place for a casual meal. Not fine dining but definitely feels classier than places like TGI Fridays. You know what you get with pizza express pretty reliable tasty food. Personally I wish they had a better range of pasta but then again they are called pizza express... So the clue's in the name. My experience from going multiple times is that it's a nicer restaurant than the one on post office road. More convenient for cinema. This felt more like a place for couples although there are big tables for groups. You can also sit out in the foyer of BH2 if u want to escape the restaurant noise. But sitting out is too bright for me. I like evening meals to be lower lighting. Service was pretty good. Nothing that blew my mind but friendly and attentive. I would say the lights above the tables are too bright. They are just very intense and unnecessary. I would go back.
It should be rated 5 stars all around, because the people who worker then we're were nice 1*, the food was perfect 2*, the seating was arranged really well 3*, and for the other 2* are for the lovely memories that have been brought to us, Thanks a lot!
The food was great, and the waiting times were very short too. Overall a good experience.
Very disappointed with the Gluten Free pizza that my girlfriend ordered. Came out looking like raw dough and we sent it back thinking it wasn't cooked. They blasted it for another 2 minutes and it came back looking the same with slightly singed toppings. The waitress herself admitted that the GF pizzas here are terrible... would not come here again for GF pizza. The regular pizza that I ate was nice, but the evening was ruined due to my girlfriend's meal. She ate all the toppings but left all the GF base/raw dough. Very unhappy with our visit.
