Went to Taran Guitars for some advice on on a repair and while Rory didn’t have time to do it as he’s working on a two and a half year waiting list, he directed me the Guitar Workshop Glasgow. While I was at the shop, I got a chance to play one of his recently finished instruments and it was world class! Best service ever!

Criminal that someone gave this 2 stars without knowing anything about the place. Truly world class guitars and mind blowing craftsmanship. On top of that, Rory is just a pleasure to work with.
Video on You Tube with Jazz music isn't too encouraging, player looks hired for the day, posed and tense. Workshop is closed for long periods from low demand. Difficult to rate these local places, good location in a private country estate, nearby a High Fidelity audio outhouse.
Stunningly beautiful bespoke instruments lovingly created here by knowledgeable craftsmen. The attention to detail is second to none.
