A hidden gem describes these beautiful gardens. You can pick up, where you pay to enter, a very informative guide, which has a map and details of all the various types of gardens and walks that Pitmuies has to offer. There is an incredible variety of plants and trees. Many are named. Walking has been made easy with lots of paths that meander gently round. There is seating all around and when you get to the loch there are a couple of picnic tables. There is a very serene and peaceful atmosphere about the whole place. If you love gardens and tranquility, then this will not disappoint. Cost is 5 for adults. Toilets are near the entrance. The car park is just across a small road.

A beautiful cottage garden, perfect just for a wander or for a picnic. We rarely visit outwith summer, but on this spring day there were many varieties of daffodils to enjoy, plus the early lupins and magnolia. Just 5 per adult.

Loved it, a proper eclectic mix laid out in kitchen garden formal garden and Riverside walk with enormous beech trees and a lovely place to picnic by the Loch.

An exceptionally well-kept and atmospheric garden. Like walking back in time through beds of roses and colourful flower beds. Original glass houses, picnic areas by the lake and gorgeous river-side walks. I can recommend going to Trumpton Forge cafe afterwards for a lovely lunch or afternoon tea.
